Antique Folding Hook Knife Ferrier A Die BlacksmithThis vintage hook knife was found in a florida ranch storage. The thick stag handle is real horn and is 5 1/4. Open the knife is 9 overall. I believe the knife was used by a blacksmith, as the maker mark is ferrier a die. Medaili f. Dargent. hTe logo in the center looks like a playing card club, on it's side. I can't find any information on the maker, but the knife is well made with a very comfortable grip. The blade has had sharpening with a file. There is minor pitting. If anyone has information on the maker, i will add to the listing.
