Antique Screwplate For Gunsmith Blacksmith Flintlock

For sale is an antique screwplate, a tool in gunsmithing, clockmaking, etc. For putting threads on screws before the invention of separate dies.

The surface is overall smooth, dark and shiny with only a light scattering of pitting. The entire surface is hardened steel. There are seven pairs fo holes from roughly 3/16 to 3/32 diameter. Length of plate 4 1/2 inches, total length with handle 7 9/16 inches. Paypal or money order preferred.
