Early 10 Lb Blacksmith Tinsmith Stake Anvil No ResMatchlessantiques offers collectors and smiths this fantastic wrought iron blacksmith / tinsmith stake anvil. This stake anvil fits into a 1 1/2 tapered hole. The construction and craftmanship is excellent adn solid. The anvil is faced with a steel faceplate, just like the big anvils are. There is some pititng which is common for its age. This kind fo stake are getting hard to find.
This is an excellent sized stake to display or to use. This stake could easily date to the early 1800s and possibly even earlier. Note this auction is for the stake anvil only. The stump (stake holder) and beakhorn stake are not included.
