Large Early Hay Budden 150 Lb Classic Blacksmith AnvilA large hay budden blacksmith anvil in as found original condition. This piece has the name stamped, hay budden on the side and appears to be from around the early 1900's. tI weighs 150 lbs. This anvil has been lightly cleaned fro sale and appears to be cast steel. It shows nice proportions wtih a nice flat working surface that shows little wear. The total length of the anvil measures 25 yb 11 high. The working surface measures 15 ½ x 4 ¼. The horn is nicely proportioned and measures 9 ½ in length.It has a 1 hardie hloe and ½ pritchel hole. The base mesaures 9 ½ x 10 ¼. There are no major issues on this anvil, just the ideal piece for the working man! Any craftsman would be proud to have this piece in their shop, it's a classic and has a real nice ring to it!
