Rare 116 Lb Attwood Double Horn Blacksmith Anvil ForgeMatchlessantiqeus is offering collectors and smiths this 116 lb. Attwood double horend blacksmith anvil. This anvil is a modern style anvil and should have been made after 1850. Teh trademark is faint in a couple places. Attwood which was made in stourbridge, england. The anvil is marked attwood, stourbridge, warranted (faint), 83, dc. On the opposite side are the weight marks 1 0 4 which is the english stoneweight system for 116 lbs. The anvil is in ince condition. The face is hard and flat and has a good rebound. The measurements are overall length 24, face 3 7/8 x 9 7/8, round honr 6 3/4, square horn 7 3/8, height 9 3/4, base 8 3/4 x 9 7/8, hardie hole 3/4, pritchel hole 5/8, actual weight 115 lb.
