Vintage Anvil Shaping Tool Blacksmith Dixon TwopieceI don't know anything about blacskmithing tools. But, this looks like some kind of vintage anvil shaping accessory set. The top piece is convex on one end and concave on the other. The convex top curve changes from one end to the other. The top piece is marked '22' on the side of the shank. The shank on the top piece measures from 3/4 inch square at the bottom to 7/8 inch square at the top and is 1 1/8 inch long. The holder measures 6 1/4 inches long. The shank is 13/16 inch square at the bottom and 15/16 inch square at the top. The ohle in the top is 13/16 inch square and 1 1/8 inch deep. The holder is marked 'dixon-90' or 'dixon 99'. This is a great set and is in beautiful condition. |
